Floor unit cases/bags/boxes
I'm interested to see how other folks are keeping their floor units. Do you just use a pedalboard? Some sort of bag? A dedicated "modeler" case with a detachable lid?
I've been carrying my RP1000 around in an old backpack from my Army days. It's simple and has lots of room, but it doesn't provide any real protection for the unit. Show me what you're using!

I have an HD 500 on a PedalTrain 2. The power supply is strapped to the underside and has a short power cord attached that pokes from the front. I use this with a pair of DRZ amps, so I have a snake made for me by Pro Cables and Sound.

For most rehearsals I stuff my RP355 and other doodads in a soft laptop briefcase. For more important rehearsals and gigs I mount it on a nycpedalboard along with my other pedals.

Another HD-500 on a PedalTrain-2 here. Hard case for me...I don't want that display cracking or knobs/footswitches breaking off from being in a bag that got hit, smashed or dropped. And since I often place the HD on top of my amp head, I needed it on a raised board to clear the amp's handle. Otherwise, Singlecut's briefcase is great. Any hard-wall luggage or one of those "better-grade" foam-lined aluminum gun cases would make fine floorboard cases. You can come across all kinds of things. The first thing my brain asks when I see any kind of box is, "I wonder if my board will fit in that?" There was an old ABS plastic paintball gun case that fits the Boss GT-3 perfectly.

I have the Gatorcase bag (the one for the microKorg) and it fits my HD500 perfectly. $35. Fits all XLR, power, and guitar cables too.

Those are nice... anybody using one of those SKB StageFive cases? I think the PS-45 is pretty much designed for modelers, but wow, they're pricey.
