I'm not a big SRV fan, but I've always loved this show. I used to own this on VHS, and made the mistake of loaning it to someone. Never saw it again.

Awesome! His playing humbles me and makes me think I'm not as good as I think I am at playing guitar.

I love when he plays Hendrix's Power to Love melody from Band of Gypsys in the middle of Voodoo Chile!

About a month ago Scott Henderson personally attacked me on this forum, calling me "disgusting" and a "jerk" for observing that Internet technologies made copyright infringement impossible to stop. He insulted me not for doing it - just for talking about it.

BUT THIS THREAD IS TOTALLY OK GUYS! I'M SURE THE VAUGHAN FAMILY ESTATE DOESN'T NEED ANY MORE MONEY!

Look,I know nobody asked me, and I am not a current or former pro, but here is my opinion on this anyway. you were right , it is impossible to stop, and I wouldn't want it stopped if you could. Modern media has in effect made it so that musicians have to play music to make a living. As in live music. Which is why most people started playing, right? the days of surviving on royalties are over. And that sucks if you are a survivor of a deceased rock star, but in general, its good for the public. just my 2 cents. Peace
