For Gibson es 335 players only

What is your favorite amp to play your es 335 through and what type of music do you play?

I like Fender BF and tweeds for jazz & blues (Princeton Reverb and Tweed Champ).

This may sound crazy....
i bought a 339, theyre the cheapest Gibson custom shop going and I got a gem..ahem..

anyways, i just wanted to sound like Freddie King. Ive got a very heavy picking hand and play the snot outta my guitars. I play simple and with attitude.
I was (still am) looking for a SF super-reverb.. but Holy Moses does this thing sound AMAZING plugged straight into my 80's JCM800- Freddie King all day long.

I know its crazy but its true.

My 335 seems to go good with every amp, and can cover many different styles.
Yes I've even played metal and heavy stuff on it.

I agree with the above post. The 335 is just a very versatile guitar and matches well with majority of amps. You can really cover a lot of musical ground with it.

I played it through a PRS when I bought it, and have a '65 DRRI at home.

I'd love to play it through a hand-wired Vox AC-15 sometime, though.

Yes, the 335 sounds good through most amps, but I'm curious about your favorite amp with a 335 and what you play.
Thanks.

Okay, I especially love it through my 65 Twin Reverb and I play R&B, Motown, Soul, Blues, Oldies and Tex-Mex.

I've been using a Victoria Regall II, with a duet of 6v6 tubes and a Celestion gold, set at about half volume. As here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3lAzuoNip0

My 335 loves my Princeton, my Clark, and is killer through my Mesa Electra-dyne when higher volumes are required. I've bounced around over the years, but my 335 is my go to guitar in almost every situation...though it has been sharing with my 60s Starfire lately.

Gibson Tennessean (25.5" scale all-maple 335, essentially) into a Vox AC15 for rock 'n' roll, R+B, and funk.
