It's Neil Young Day!

Started w/Harvest, working my way thru Time Fades Away and am On The Beach, now!

"I'm a barrel of laughs, with my carbine on!"

The Danko/Helm rhythm section on parts of On the Beach is outstanding, esp. Revolution Blues.

Another fave quote from that record:
"There ain't nothing like a friend, who can tell you you're just pissing in the wind"

Don't forget David Crosby's AWESOME rhythm guitar on Revolution Blues; he begged Neil not to sing about Manson, which of course made Neil more determined.

My favorite line lately in any song is off Sail Away on Rust Never Sleeps:

"See the Losers in the Best Bars, Meet the winners in the Dives; Where the people are the real stars; all the rest of their' lives."

I'll also add that Ragged Glory's version of White Line is one of my favorite songs by anybody.
