Hey Soul man, Revived my original Hamer Echotone thread for 'ya, If I can be of ANYMORE help, feel free to PM....I see you were also asking about CURRENT models, I have heard some of the MIC 'gits with/have the "smaller than 1 11/16 nut", But, from what I've seen posted here, you really need to shop around on them in general....which, IS NOT such a bad Idea anyway, again, Good-luck with the search, Tom....I'm sure you are going to get some good advice here, from members that OWN these styles of Instruments.......

Fender thinline telecasters are slim necked, most gibsons have a slim neck at the nut, but a lot also have the 50's rounded neck as opposed to the slim taper 60's, PRS have a wider nut as they come with the wide/fat neck carve.

I'm not sure about the current Casino's, but some of the newer (non-vintage) Epiphone Casino's from, I believe, the earlier 2000's have a smaller nut width. Some of the newer ones may have, also.

It looks like any new model Tokai 335 style will have a narrower nut.
