Help dating a Gibson pickup?

so.....

how would you go about working out what year this was made?

Don't look at other pickups when you're out with the Gibson...Gibson's hate that...

I'd be more concerned about how micro-phonic is is rather than how old it is.

That zinc bottom plate with big "patent" number stamped on it screams mid-70s to me...
