Saw a C7 Corvette today

I live not that far from the proving grounds and often see camouflaged cars.

There was two C7s and several z06s and a 911S. I also got some video.

Here's a couple of shots.

As soon as they saw me and my camera, they quickly pulled into a DQ and pulled out the covers. They had nothing to say to me. It sure sounded mean.

That means they'll probably take it on the road soon. For some reason, they always seem to end up on Santa Monica Blvd (the end of Route 66). I see Michigan manufacturer plates on paper covered vehicles quite often and if I see it, I'll try and get a shot. Last week I saw some sort of Lexus SUV wrapped in paper with manufacturer plates...it looked like an Aztec. lol

The Corvette has never been that nor has it ever intended to be. Chevy makes plenty of those, what is wrong with making a kick ass sports car as well?

Take it easy, Eric. It was said tongue-in-cheek. And I agree with you.
Man, some of you are wound tight.

With the comments people make around here, it is very hard to know who is serious and who is not. I took it the same way as Eric did. It sounded exactly like something some would say here and be dead serious.

No problem. Me too. Sometimes at the end of the day, I'm not as funny as I think I am.

I couldn't agree more, Ron.
Some people are very hard to read around here.

Tony, I bet you could've sold those shots to Brenda and Priddy... They are big auto spy photographers... They really like to get their hands on these type of photos...
