Kemper Profiling Amp: Quick first impressions

I got a KPA last week and I have to admit: I am in love with it.

I profiled my Morgan AC20 Deluxe with it and the profile sounds spectacular...the KPA absolutely captures the chime, dynamics, and voice of my AC20. IMHO, playing through the KPA feels very much like playing through a tube amp.

I'm going to gig it out this weekend at church and see how it does going direct to the FOH. I'm really looking forward to giving this thing a spin in a live environment.

I'll let you know how it does...

Hey chris, I just finished an 8 hour session with your profile bro! No joke. I used one profile (CSG_BR_DELUXE_CR57) and that managed to win out over several great ones. Some minor tweaking and the engineers were GEEKING OUT over the tone. The studio confirmed they were buying a "space toaster" next week.

Just a quick update...

The KPA sounded great going direct to the FOH...I monitored using IEM's and was very happy with how well I sat in the mix and how authentic the KPA sounded. The sound guys were thrilled as well.

I have been to two studios that have these space toaster thingies.
Great for lunch and coffee breaks!
