Custom RG pick guards?

I'd like to try a SSS pickguard on my RG 1550.
Does anyone know where I could get one? Or is there some reason it shouldn't/couldn't be done?

I've never removed the stock guard so I don't know what's under there...I'm just assuming that the stock HSH config would allow a SSS guard if there was one to be had.

I was going to order the pickups that are in the Fireman and try them in the RG

You could try contacting Pickguard Paradise-

http://www.pickguardparadise.com/pickguards.html

or Jeannie custom pickguards-

http://home.comcast.net/~pickguards/JeannieIbanez.html

note- i have no personal experience with either company, i just know of them from guys talking about them on jemsite and other forums...

Any competent luthier can do one for you.
