Mustang Pickup Question

A few months ago I bought a '65 Mustang. It had been someones player guitar for a long time, and I've been working on getting it back to mostly original condition.

The pickup that was in the neck was one of the originals, but the bridge pickup had been replaced with an early Dimarzio. I bought a cheap "repro" pickup, but I don't really like it.

The problem: I know the two pickups are supposed to be reverse wound/reverse polarity, but since I'm not sure which I've got, how can I figure out what I need? I can't really tell if the wire is black or blue.
