Fuzz Recomendation

I am looking to buy a fuzz to add to the arsenal and want to get the highly sought after TGP opinion

I am running an epiphone riviera elitist (valensi with p-94s), an american standard tele with fralin blues, or a standard american strat into my board which consists of an RC Booster, a Timmy, and an Original RAT as my drive section plus all my other effects and im running it into a Morgan AC20 Deluxe.

I would like some advice on what fuzz you would recommend and why. So lets hear em.

Here's my $.02

1. Start in the Skreddy camp. Lunar Module, PigMine, etc. This step may save you lots of time and money.
2. See Step 1

I've also been happy with Analogman and, Basic Audio. Oh, and SkinPimp.

Depends on what you're looking for.

I love the Black Arts Tonework Pharaoh. Incredibly versatile, reasonably priced, and has a lot of great tones in it.

If you're looking for muffs, check out Stomp Under Foot.

I've played quite a few fuzz pedals and, at least to my ears and fingers, none play or feel better than Basic Audio fuzzes. I have 4 of em now. Only issue is they seem have developed a skreddy-esque wait time for delivery now as opposed to the 2-3 weeks it used to take to have one built. I know prymaxe-vintage usually has a few in stock and their might be a couple kicking around the emporium.

There are *tons* of great fuzzes out there and you can't go wrong with stuff like SUF or Skreddy, but to me, Basic Audio makes the best fuzz boxes. Especially if you're playing strats and tele's. Actually, the Scarab Deluxe is pretty awesome with a Les Paul too.

Couldn't have said it better...
Look at the Retroman Lola and Throbak Bender/Haze too.

I guess it all depends what you're going for. I would recommend a solid fuzz face like the Sunface NKT275 ir a great Muff like the Box of War. For versatility though you would probably like the ZVez Box of Fuzz.

Analogman Ge Sun Face (cleans up like no other)

Skreddy Lunar Module (covers LOTS of bases, cleans up well too) - current fave but still in the honeymoon. Got No. 99 came in the mail from Skreddy last week. Unbelievable. Love it taking the high gain while my screwdriver covers the mid gain.

Basic Audio Scarab Deluxe. Also covers lots of ground. Would say the the tone bender Variants like the Scarab can do some of the nastier fuzz tones with greater ease but I think I am a fuzz face man, to wit my sun face and LMMD preferences. To be fair, I've only owned the regular, non-deluxe scarab.
