Best old school Fender clean in a software sim?

I'm currently using Amplitube's Princeton model, which I like okay. But wondering what else is out there. Anyone do extensive comparisons?

I have tried about all of the software sims. I like Amplitube but I find it to be more noisy for me (a lot of white noise) compared to others.

My favorite right now is Th2, the lynch box "Blackface" module with Redwirez cabs.

For reference I also have currently Revalver, Guitar Rig 4, Amplitube, Studio Devil, S Gear, and all the free stuff.

I have to say the Pod HD fender model is also very good, I had that but sold it (which I am kind of regretting honestly and might re-buy it).

S Gear sounds good, but I have a hard time really nailing Fender sounds with it even with the Fender Redwirez cabs.

The Bassman on Revalver also sounds good, but not blackface cleans.

Maybe I will try to post some demos of all of them, I should at some point, give me a few days and I will try to put some up comparing the AT3 Princeton, to some of the others I have.

Love the bassman bright model on the HD series. Does an amazing clean tone that transitions into bluesy breakup as you wind up the gain.

My second favorite Fender sim is the black face model on the Roland Cube 60. I use this amp as the back for my real fender style tube amp. It kills.

Thanks, but I have a Fender amp, looking for software (ie. plug-in) solutions here.

I don't think you can find something better than S-Gear (The Duke).

Also the Fender plug-in is quite good, I think is made by Amplitude.

Not a "Fender out of the box" but you can make it sound like a Fender.
More of a Dumble tone but still cleanish:

+1 for Scuffham S-Gear. Best modeller around at the moment in my opinion.

You may also want to take a look at Softubes Vintage Amp Room.

Vibroverb model on the Zoom G3 is fantastic. Breakup have a bit of that crossover distortion though, but it's brilliant for real vintage sounding cleans and farty overdrive.

I agree s-gear is well worth the money and sounds great, but it does not sound much like a blackface fender amp to me (and I have tried). No matter what impulse I use it does not get the same sound as a blackface fender (think 65 deluxe reverb). At least in my opinion.

I like it, but it does not emulate old school fender clean to me.
