This. I also think he's capable of going on some kind of rampage and killing others. He's a mess, on the edge, and on the verge.

Gibson's outbursts definitely seem like more than simple anger or frustration. I suspect he needs both proper medication and intensive therapy. I hope he gets it, too for the sake of his children and employees.

It's sad to watch him deteriorate like this. I used to really like Mel Gibson.

It was recorded by the son of Joe Ezterhaus, screenwriter. Joe, his wife and 15 year old son were invited down to stay at the house in Costa Rica so Joe and Mel could supposedly "work". Well.. Mel took 15 year old Nick with him surfing, and as overheard by the parents, Mel said to Nick about his ex-wife Oksana, "I'm going to f*ck her in the a** and stab her to death".

What kind of mentally instable wack job says that to a 15 year old kid?

Later, Mel goes on this rant. I'd have had my wife and kid out the door so fast it would make your head swim. Unfortunately, just about the only way in our out that's quick involves helicopters.

This is all available to read about in a letter that Joe Ezterhaus sent to Mel. Look it up.

The guy has gone totally off the deep end.

Mel Gibson: F*ck him

He's an anti-Semitic tool, and I have zero patience for anyone who espouses that nonsense.

Well, I am sure glad that TGP knows the truth to both sides and we have Mels Rx at hand.

Has nothing to do with sides. Does Mel sound well to you during this uber-rage filled rant?

Read the letter Joe Eszterhas wrote to Mel Gibson. Read the whole thing from start to finish for the context of this recording.

There seems to be a fair amount of testimony about Gibson's behaviour outside of the letter to corroborate the main theme. The guy needs help. Whether this recording will provoke that... who the hell knows.

My mother is bipolar.....at one point, she started crawling across the floor like an animal...screaming about spiders crawling down the walls.

I only wish somebody would have been around to secretly tape it and then post it on the TGP, where the collective righteousness could analyze it and help me out!

Never having met him, I cannot formulate an educated opinion.

He does sound rather irate, though.

How fortunate the diatribe was recorded and disseminated so quickly.

Follow the money.

I guarantee you that every holier than thou person who wants to string Mel up by his nuts would look pretty damned bad if they had their worst moments audio taped and posted on the Internet..

This is it! ^ Everyone has had bad moments to some degree or another, so it's time to get off you little holier than thou soap boxes!
