calling tonebender freaks

So my first tonebender was probably the perfect match for me, skinpimp mkii w/ oc84s and mustard caps... all the fun stuff, custom made by ryan, very aggressively tuned. My roommate has heard me go through dozens of pedals and this is the first one where he's said "thats your sound".

Anyway, I have a gorgeous boutique hollowbody w/ wcr pickups (crossroad / fillmore), but an OK amp... peavey deltablues 2x10.

It gets the job done, but it doesn't match the caliber of my guitars tone or what the tonebender calls for (starts sounding crappy when pushing the volume past 4).

What do you tonebender lovers play through? I'm very much a Led Zeppelin / Black Keys head. Very bluesy rock w/ a pop appeal.

I've been contemplating a Vox AC15/30, but wondering if the tweed era of fender is something I should explore. Thanks!

Oh I've seen that GAS of a video a few times. Dan has a different tone than myself and what I'm going for, he just utilizes fuzz very well which I admire

I've plugged into one of these before and wasn't very impressed, maybe I need to try one again? Also didn't try it with fuzz or anything.

It's a bit unconventional but I get the best tonebender results with my trusty old fender vibrosonic from 1975 - basically a twin with a single 15 inch speaker - I prefer it to an ac30 I have - silver face fenders re still reasonably priced too

so it's fairly standard for tonebenders to go into cleaner amps than a vox?

Bluesbreaker is 30 watts...more or less. 30-36 watts.
MKIIs sound best feeding a fairly clean amp.
Tiny Terrors sound god awful with a MKII. At least I couldn't get it to work when I owned a TT.

Doh i feel like a noob, was super busy at work and was comprehending "bluesbreaker" as "jtm45"...

budget is an issue, which bluesbreaker should I look at for say around 1000?
