Your Favorite PRS TODAY!

We all know how it works... "favorite" guitars can change with the weather.

What is your favorite PRS today! Remember, at midnight, you get to start all over again!

Here's my favorite PRS today.

This is great!

Now question, does it have to be of PRSi currently owned, or can it be one we're GAS'ing for?

Because we all have the days of GAS, when our 'favorite' seems to be the one just out of reach

So I'll assume the latter for the moment, and post this one, because this one is just stalking me in my mind day and night:

That is sweet!! At first I thought it was cool yes at first glance, but then my eyes focused in on that middle pickup hidden away in there, like a tiger in the tall grass!

I'm usually not a fan of PRSi with a middle pickup in an HSH config, but on that color scheme, it's a whole other story.

Hmmm...maybe in configuring my next PRS...

My favorite today, until my CU22 comes home from the PTC, is my '11 DGT. Simply a killer guitar, hard to believe there are 11's on there and it plays so easily.

She's a plain jane, but she's one of the best guitars I've ever touched.

1995 PRS Custom 22.

Without question, my very unique and special CU24AP. Santana Yellow, black ebony board, very large "Standard" neck. The playabilty is off the charts, it resonates so much the trem springs do the reverb effect constantly. It is the ONLY stock PRS I have or have ever had.

The original pickups are perfect for this guitar. It has dynamics and clarity not associated with CU24's. Much more than a rock machine, but it does that very well. It has bested every custom I have compared it to (for what I want), including some of the earliest from the 80's. Just a freak of an instrument and a perfect guitar.

I'm liking the looks of some of the new ones coming out, but this one's MINE....
Had it for a few months now and it's spoiled me for everything else...

...at least for now...

It's my plainest (maybe what I like best about it in some ways), but it's comfy, trustworthy, best form of transportation I have in a PRS...basically like a damn good horse. Korina McCarty with 5708s, 7 pounds of ease and breeze.

Bone nut and SS "6100 type" frets (Jescar FW57110SS) done by Michael Tuttle

Also added TonePros Locking Bridge Studs, really seemed to firm things up w/o tonal/timbral shift.

I have to say +1 to Shellby's post.
I feel the exact same way about my 2001 PRS CU24 its just incredible.
My LP and strats just feel like one trick ponies in comparison.
I even get an acoustic vibe when using the split coils out of phase poistion '2' that gets me beating down on the strings like I do with my acoustic. The pups are so versatile. I could go on an on why its my dream guitar but I wont.
All I will say is that its my go to guitar for heavy rock (classic and modern) blues (bleed cap is great) cleans and acoustic/rythm.
A shape shifter for sure.

Here she is;
