Line 6 HD500 broke... how to fix?
Hello world of TGP. The Line 6 HD500 I bought no more than a week ago decides to crap out on me. I plug it into my computer and pull up the Edit software. As soon as it appeared, it said that it was not able to upload one or more of my "bundles." It also said that if this kept happening, unplug the USB drive from the computer replug it in after restarting the software. I also unplugged the plug from the back of the Line 6 going to the wall just to be safe. I start the software and plug everything back in. I notice how on the HD500 that the screen flashes the Line 6 logo (what happens before your presets appear), goes off for less than a second, and flashes the logo again. It just keeps repeating this. If anyone has experienced this before, how do you fix it!?!?!?!? Cause I love my HD500 and I've only had it for a week!!!!!!

Check their forum too.
May need to reset it. These may be similar to the problem. http://line6.com/support/message/372560 http://line6.com/support/thread/46226 |

Yes, do a factory reset. You'll be surprised at what all it can fix. I bought one of the first HD500s that came out - only once did I have to resort to this, but it did fix my problem permanently (that was over a year ago, and I use mine heavily).

Make sure the Firmware is completely updated too after resetting.

Go to Line 6 Mokey and re-install everything with the updates.
