Rize of the Fenix out today
The greatest band in rock and roll history released their new album today. I'm about halfway through. It's a lot more varied musically than previous D but just as hilarious. Nothing will top thier debut but I am sure glad they did something to correcdt the mess that was Pick of Destiny.

oh sweet! I didn't realize it was out yet. I heard Cage talking awhile back in an interview that he and JB were going back into the studio.
Guess it's true; "as long as there's a record deal, we'll always be friends."

The new album is TERRIBLE.
I don't like posting USELESS negative comments... This isn't USELESS. Rize of the Fenix is awful. It is not an album. It has probably 3 real songs on it. The rest is either a really bad comedy sketch, or a one minute song "clip".. probably written for the show... that we have tickets for.. and I HOPE that it is not all Rize of the Fenix crap. I got to see them when they were touring their first album in a small venue. It was awesome. I have both of their DVDs.. (as far as I know, there are only two).. and all of their CDs.. and ROTF is JUNK. Roadie is the only song that I find OK. Some of the other songs that I thought had potential are not real songs in my opinion. I want a full album of music, with real songs.. and some thought put into them. Comedy sketches are ok, if they are funny.. and not too long.
