'59 Tweed Tremolux (5G9)

What modern/boutique amp would be closest to this circuit?

Thx,
Ken

I think Victoria makes one. The Trem de la Trem.

I plan on building one soon. It's hard to find a properly marked and drilled chassis, but I picked up one from Mike Clark last summer as he was auctioning off some surplus.

Victoria would probably build you what you want.

The Victoria is a 5E9-A, which is a '56 Tremolux. The 5E9-A is a great amp, my favorite Fender Tweed. I have an original, the '56 sounds sweeter than the later one.

This is one of my all-time favorites; I own two big box variants. I would be interested to know who is making a modern killer.

Here is my all original (5E9-A) Tremolux and all original Stratocaster, both are made in March of 1956.
Great sounding team.

Here is the inside of the Tremolux, still going strong.

Victorias is excellent, but it is 5E9-A, I've played a Louis, that is 5g9. iT IS LOUDER AND BRIGHTER THAN THE vICTORIA. The Victoria has more of the vintage vibe. It comes with a 15" speaker that sounds killer, and is plenty loud for band use . But they would make you one with a 12" speaker.

I have a '55 small box(basicly a deluxe) and a '59 big box.the big box is fixed bias so different tone than the small box ,of the several tweeds I have, the big box is a tone winner-something like a tweed twin, but grinds better at a useable volume, also really nice complex cleans.the stock jensen speaker is an excellent tone maker for this amp.
