Robot Factory Pedal Co.

Anyone tried these pedals out? I've done several searches but all I get is either "Robot" or "Factory" threads so I thought I'd start my own.

I currently have a Lo-Tech-No-Fi-Bot on order that I'm pretty stoked about.

The builders name is Mario Alderfer & he makes some crazy / unique looking and sounding stuff from what I can see. If you like guitar Synth pedals this would be a cool page to check out.

Look forward to any feedback I can get.

Cheers

I looked at them for a long time, especially for the Meatwad. I think they are pretty solid builds as they are carried by the Moog store in Toronto, but I have never used one myself.

I'm using Robot Factory Pulse Synth which is amasing for what it does and Wormhole, which is the craziest filter ever (it's Bassballs on really heavy steroids). Mario's stuff is amazing also pretty expensive and often non-traditional so you don't see these too often in classifieds.

I had Mario, build me a variation of his dual tremolo. I had it on my board for a really long time, but stopped playing a song that had two distinct tremolo settings on it and moved to the Tremolessence and now; Flint.

I saw a few of them when I was at Moog Audio in Montreal (aka Pedal Heaven, cases and cases of about 900 pedals you are free to just take out and play) but didn't have time to play any. They look super cool though.

I owned a Photron Filter and heard some more.

They are interesting but difficult to setup properly.

I once tweaked the Photron with the level of my amp pretty low. Suddenly with a certain setting a pulse came out of the filter that almost ripped off my ears.

I own a lot of guitar and bass synth pedals, and (no offense intended) there are better pedals available than these, and for less, if one wants to go that route.
