new Gibson Midtown Standard P90's

These look pretty sweet, especially the pelham blue. And BTW, they have a rosewood board. Street price is like $1200 according to my sales guy at GC. I might jump.....

I'm surprised this didn't get more interest. These Midtowns look sweet and the rosewood boards are a plus. Anyone wanna jump with me?

Looks like the tops are flat instead of carved. Otherwise, I think they look very nice.

Skinny necks don't work for me. Otherwise I'd be all over it.

Yea, the midtowns are flat tops... funny how that ends up being $1000 cheaper.

The midtown custom neck is not that skinny... it's about the same as the 60's style 335 neck

I think that looks like exactly the kind of guitar I'd like... Except that the headstock looks weird.

I'd need a 50's neck and two volumes, two tones.

Too broke to bite but I think that's a pretty solid offering.

I just don't understand that pricing. They claim it's a carved top, but it's flat . If it IS carved, then it's a simple CNC program to get it carved with an arch. The CS models are more like $2000-4000 more, what's that about.
