Thumbs up Non-Digital Tom's Super Spectacular 2006 NAMM Thread

Okay everybody, boys and girls, guys and gals, ladies and gents… Welcome to Non-Digital Tom’s massive official Super Spectacular Winter NAMM 2006 thread. I was fortunate to be able to attend this year, and I spent all day Friday and Saturday seeing the sights and taking lots of pictures to show you all. All the pics in this thread were taken with my own camera by me (except the ones I’m in, of course).

First off, I have to say I didn’t even see half of what was there – it was HUGE, overwhelming even, lots of excitement and activity. So please excuse any glaring omissions in my coverage – I’ll do better next time, I promise! There are so many people I missed, booths I didn’t make it to, etc. But I did manage to cover quite a bit in my short stay, so here it is – ENJOY!

Warning – I have 188 pictures I’m going to post

Action at the Demeter booth

Custom paint Demeter pedals

Demeter trems

I played a Demeter FOD through this rig and a guy placed an order after hearing me play. Where’s my commission?

Nice paint job! Check out www.swankbox.com for more of these.

I had a great time at the Z Vex booth! I was having such a good time, I forgot to take pictures of the new pedals – DOH!

Here’s a picture of me with Eric Sexe, official Z Vex pedal demonstrator and star of all those Z Vex videos you like to watch over and over…

This year’s theme was “Go to bed with Z Vex.” Here’s a picture of me in bed with Amada.

Me, Steve Daniels of Small Bear, and Zachary Vex… in bed, no less…

One of the highlights of my NAMM experience was meeting Adrian Belew. I’ve been a fan for many years and was unbelievably psyched when he agreed to write the Foreword to Analog Man’s Guide To Vintage Effects. Adrian was kind enough to autograph my personal copy of the book at the show.
