Sorta Dumb ohm Guy Pt II

If I ran a 16 ohm and an 8 ohm in parralell, what do i get?????

What Taller says, and the 8-ohm cab will take 2/3 of the power and the 16-ohm one 1/3.

You can run this combination safey from an amp set at either 4 or 8 ohms.

PS-so on a 50 watt head that would be 32 1/2 watts to the 8 ohm and 17 1/2 watts to the 16 ohm, right?

Roughly. You'll get a slight loss of efficiency due to the mismatch, but 30W and 15W would be good guesses.
