Lovepedal woody!

I've got the woody off ebay last year but never got attached to it. It was too loud and too trebly. Last week I was playing around with it plugged into marshall bluesbreaker ri and my mexi strat 60's reissue with GFS pups and thought if it is too bright I'll just turn down the tone control, if it's too loud and too distorted I'll just turn down the volume control, well not all drive pedal would work this way, but the woody surely does!!I cant get it completely clean, it always got a good amount of dirt, sort of like power tube breakup with volume turned down, turn the vol up bammm you got yourself a beautifull high gain with a hefty amount of volume boost!of course it doesnt sound like MI audio CB high gain (my favourite high gain pedal), but for blues rock the woody totally kick ass!!mine is the one without any knob, just a on/off switch and input/output and painted in banana yellow. Got it for $100US shipped to Australia!shipping to Australia is about $13US, so I'd say I got a bargain there.

Right now it's the Full Drive 2 10th Anniversary, but ask me next week and I'll say something different.

The only pedal I use is a Fulldrive II modded to pre-FM specs.

Hmmm. A lot of great ones but my all time favorite is the Hughes & Kettner Tube Factor.

Well, for today, I'd go with my Fulltone 70.

Not much of a consensus here, eh?
