Blue Guitar Pics, Please!

I've just commisioned a new guitar in Daphne Blue but I'm concerned how greenish it may end up over time (I have one '58 Sea Foam Green Strat and one is enough).

Post some pics of your Daphne Blue guitars (or any other blue - but if so can you state what Blue it is). In case of deja vu, I started a similar thread over on BaM when this place was down. The body wood will be Mahogany and the neck will be Korina (I want the headstock the same colour as the body).

Looking for ideas, that's all.
Ta.
Best, Pete.

Lake Placid Blue '62 reissue Strat. I've had the axe for around 15 years, so it's probably as faded as it is going to get...

Pete,

here's the Nash T-Style in Sonic Blue. Daphne can be 'hit or miss' in terms of how green that particular color can look. The Sonic Blue is pretty much baby blue from my color blind perspective.

Heck, even the sonic blue has bit of a greenish (teal) tint to it!

Wink Some Blues, Some Greens

Hi Pete,

Here's a group shot for comparison. The Fender is Daphne Blue. Click the Pic for a bigger shot.

My carved-top Hawk should be done soon. It should be another killer Chapin tone monster. I can't wait!
