What the hell is going on...now my Komet sounds GOOD!!!!

Oh god I'm so very very confused. I just plugged my Komet into my ENGL cab which I'm looking to sell and I haven't had it plugged into it since I got my Marshall greenback cab, which is also since I got new valves for it...and it's actually sounding good......GOOD!!! Is it possible that the Komet sounds not that good through old greenbacks? I would think it should sound alright! Is it also possible that the power could be a bit funny either here at home or at the rehearsal studio where I cranked the Komet not long ago...and it sounded crap cranked :smack:

This Komet thing is the most confusing thing for me since my first girlfriend...and that still confuses the hell out of me when I think about her!

Oh god what next...I think locusts are starting to come out of my pickups

Hey, the locusts would make for a cool stage show!

I would have to think, if it sounds better w/ the ENGL cab, I'd just stick with it. I've had a lot of amps that sound better with one cab but not the other, and some that sound bad with one and better that the first amp sounded crapola. Thats just part of the sonic puzzle.

Is it possible that your other cabinet is wired out of phase?

I've noticed this too, but I was thinking it had more to do with the air/fan blades moving around bouncing the sound all over the place rather than power consumption.
