All this talk is killing me...

Man,oh,man yet another thread about Fuchs goes on,so I kinda felt compelled to post this!Again, the Fuchs may not be everyone's cup of tea,but it certainly is mine and it ticks me off when people start talking about what amp sits good in a mix and what amp doesn't and how versatile this amp is and that amp isn't and blah-blah-blah So,this is a recent rehearsal recording, please nevermind the clams. All of the sounds are Fuchs's overdrive channel with volume pot manipulation and pickup switching. The sound is my usual setup lately white Suhr straight into the Fuchs head, straight into the THD cab, miced with a Sennheiser e906 into a Firepod into Sonar 5(only light delay was added from Sonar):

http://users.bandzoogle.com/vladglav...les/BK1001.mp3

In other words,I can get a myriad of sounds from the Fuchs,I dunno whether they resemble anything else "classic",but I really don't care 'cuz I love 'em.Judge for yourselves!

Vlad

P.S. The tune is called "Balloon Knot" written by bass player Jeff Lee!

I'll ignore the flame throwers. Anyone who owns a Fuchs knows they aren't a one trick pony. Plug and play or tweak. So many great tones.

Vlad, those are great tones, and great playing.

Thumbs up

I don't play this kind of music, but I am a willing listener to it! That was great! I'd love to see that live! My amps are all old Fenders, but that was superb! Excellent tone, and wonderful playing. It sort of reminded me of EVH when he's comping in spots, with a little Satriani thrown in. I am not a fan EVH's solos for the most part, but I have always really dug the grooves he does behind the song. You sir, have fine taste and articulation in your playing! Not to mention tone and soul!:RoCkIn

Love the title of the tune....lol.

Worst part is the highly vocal critics who: don't even gig at all, visit tonefests, or ever played the amps.

Thanks for the support and the great tones Vlad ya' big lug....

Really, really nice, Vlad........what pickups in that Suhr?

Andy, you should definitely pop that clip on your site. Any amp that can do THAT, plus what ScottL gets out of it, and your blues clips is covering some GROUND.....

....well, then you really just need send ME one , so I can do you a cleanish roots/twang rock clip.........

John, sorry,I wasn't relating you to that,I was simply venting about the many people on many different threads about many different amps that just pit one amp vs. another and love making expert conclusions without really backing them up!Again,I'm just generalizing! You're cool, and although you should get a Fuchs you'll sound great through anything!

Hey,Andy,no problem-it's my pleasure to put a lil' different spice among Fuchs players far superior than I.BTW,if I tell you the real inspiration behind the tune's title then you'll be laughing in tears, but it ain't for a public forum !

Jim, I have a DSH+ in the bridge and 2 V60LP in mid and neck with the backplate system. This guitar flat out KILLS with some serious tone-I love it,but then both my Suhrs are incredible guitars!
