Good question. I've been interested in this one......
The way some folks carry on about it you would think they would post a clip or two. Just so the rest of us poor folks could hear it.

hy threm.. how is it? i am thinking of selling some stuff and trying that out. can it really reach soldano drive quality? i am a fan of silverchairs guitar sound (he uses a soldano).. and i really like moores sound for low gain stuff. i am kind of sick using 5 or 7 ods and fuzzes and so on my board. so i thought maybe the purchase of the hog, + maybe one other od or/and fuzz would end my long list of pedals i have.

I asked Stephenson if they had clips & they said "nope". Great way to sell more Stage Hogs.... Uh.. yeah. I realize that clips cant capture the feel of an amp or pedal but at least it allows us to be "in the ballpark"

It goes without saying that Stephenson didn't get my business. However, Bad Cat did.

Yes, Bad Cat. I was looking for a practice amp. The Bad Cat Alley Cat amp is what I went with. Believe me, I wanted to give Stephenson my money but I refuse to buy ANY piece of gear without playing it or at least hearing it.

Hmmm... I just saw that Bad Cat has some "coming soon" pedals that look like they're going to incorporate tubes and might be a good amp substitute. The sides are vented, and the pedals are larger than regular stompboxes.

Anyone know more about them?

I spoke too soon. I went to musictoyz and they seem to have them in stock.
