Brown Note's D-LITE clips

Hey Everybody!

Got some clips recorded of the Normster D-Lite.
This is the amp I built using my own iron.
Recorded using Mac Powerbook/Garageband, SM57 close mic'd med volume, Celestion G12H open back 1x12, Novax Bartolini bucker equipped strat using humbucking and split phase pickup selections.
Clips are spotty at best , but hopefully you can get an idea of some of the tones...
I have a bunch more that I'm ripping and clipping but here's the first few:

Let me know what you think...

Man, after all the pimping I've been doing, I don't know if I should even comment in this thread.

Your amp sounds incredible! Nice fat juicy mids, great harmonics, and the clean clip is just gorgeous!

Oh, and welcome to TGP.

I'm liking what I'm hearing here. Very nice sounding amp in both threads. From what I understand Normster you'll be selling this as an amp kit? Any idea when this will be available and at what price?

Yeah, it's working now.

Moss, would it be possible to try some OD tones with humbuckers? I'm not real fond of strats and OD.
Thanks!
Greg

I like amps that sound great with singles and humbuckers. Fig's clips were amazing, and yours confirmed what I hoped to hear. I want one!

The semi clean clip had that compression after the attack that the clean Dumble tones have.

There should be lots of interest in these kits. Keep us posted when they are available. BTW, I checked out your website last night, and noticed you are in my neck of the woods.

I'll send you a PM with my number. I'd love to try one out sometime.

Good luck with your amps and kits, and welcome to TGP.

Brownnote and I are working to get this put together around the first of the year. The price will depend a lot on the number of people interested. The larger the run, the better pricing we'll be able to get. We want to keep the price as low as possible without sacrificing any component quality.
