Arrow Digitech XP-300 Space station

now i think the spacestation is a phenomenal pedal and i love it! but it's hard to come by and expensive as hell. does anyone know if there are any pedals out there that like the spacestation?

I've heard there's a guy over at HC who can mod any of the XP series to produce all the effects of the whole line.

The Space Station's the most popular & highly sought after. You could probably pick up one of the others much cheaper and send it off to the guy..

That's what I'd do if I lived in the USA. I've been charged duty & taxes on the full value of pedals I've sent down for repair, so it's not a practical option for me.

The new DigiTech expression pedal's also got some of the original space station's sounds, but not all of them..

Digitech EX7 Has a space station in it. I don't know how it compares to the Xp-300 though.

I'm sorry I can't hook you up.. I've spent very litle time in that zoo they call a forum. It amazes me how many builders hang there - the only time I've spent there is when someone here posts a link to an interesting thread..

If you posted the Q on their effects discussion page, you'll probably get your answer..

IME, the spacestation effect in the EX-7 sounds and tracks better than the original.

I've been wanting one of these for years. $300 is the cheapest I've seen one. I don't object to paying what they're selling for, I just haven't been able to justify it yet considering it would be pretty much just for fun.

I would buy one of these if they were reissued. Maybe they should try again, it could have been ahead of its time.
