Back To Basics Test Clip

Just installed a new M-Audio 2496 full-duplex sound card in my old PC and recorded a straight up bluesy/jazzy thing for about a minute.

Schecter Tele through my old Boogie amp ... MIDI drums through Fluid SF2 sound fonts and my Yamaha bass.

Testing for levels and tone ... I think it sounded OK for a simple test.

Test Clip

A second clip with a Washburn ... slide guitar ... again Boogie ... Boss DR3 for drum/bass track

Slide Test

No input ... maybe there's no interest ... but if it sounds bad ... it's OK to tell me.

I'm pleased with these quick test tracks. I'm going to keep working it ... I think I'm on the right track. The latency problem is gone and I seem to have most of the bugs worked out of the hardware ... PC settings and all.

Once I'm done with that I can start creating some material with a little thought behind it.
