I think it is reminiscent of the 1980s Hamer "TLE Custom" model myself, maybe that's where JG got their inspiration...

I'm extremely interested in what this new Hamer will sound like. New design pickups and a 4 way switch????

I wish they would flip up the outside ends of the headstock a little more. Looks a little unbalanced.

...is it just my eyes, or do those frets look HUGE (height) on that neck?

Other than the Sustain Block bridge, this Talladega doesn't look all that special to me. It looks ok, but I'll pass.

Id say it pretty special.....25 1/2" scale, maple neck, chambered mahogany body, sustain block bridge....Hamer USA hasn't made a 25.5" scale with a maple neck since what....1994?....

It says $3100 retail....I wonder if the typical 35-40% gets knocked off that?

I waited almost a year for my order (worth it) and had to pay more than that. When it came, I wasn't disappointed (Thanks to Steve at Wildwood.)

Dealers won't discount something that people can't get, and the availability of Hamers is getting difficult as most seem to be going to England and Japan. I'd be surprised if many people even see one of these guitars in person for a while.

Here, too. You could probably get pretty close to this with a USACG carved top hollow Tele body in Mahogany.
