new stevens in the house/skyway content

alder body 24.625" scale maple v neck .925" @ the nut, brazilian rosewood board with 6105s, tortoise side dots, skyway trem, rod mag p 90s (n/m) with custom stag mag (tele bridge magnets), demeter mid boost, nitro greened out inca silver

:AOK that is a sexy guit-fiddle, Matte ! a built-in midboost is a very useful tool, also and i often wonder why not more builders offer this, not more players ask for this ...
one thing in particular about that Stevens guitar : from the superficial looks of things he did the neck-joint in a similar way as Hamer with their Monaco models where there is this ledge on the cutaway side. Hamer explains this results from the way they cut the dovetail/mortise for the neck which in turn results in more contact between the body and the neck-tenon = better gluejoint, more natural sustain etc. all in all the topic of long-winded discussions about the pros and cons over on the Hamer forum. on my Monaco this ledge never posed a problem but there are those who say the opposite...
