Badger is here.

I have been enjoying my new toy and thought that I would give you guys a little first hand experience.

I have been through a couple of amps in the past and have had a chance to play some really great small watt models but this little beast certainly can keep up with just about anything.

The amp goes from clean to scream from too loud to a whisper.

The secret is in the interplay between the power scaling/preamp gain/ power amp gain.

With the badger you can get extreme levels of real tube amp gain at levels that are really just a whisper. This amp works great with the volume control on your guitar. It has me rethinking my set up and the way that I use overdrives.

The fx loop works great provided that you keep your power amp section running clean. SO much of this amp is in the power section I have been thinking of keeping delay/reverbs away from the amp entirely and running a small wet/dry rig.

The head is small and fairly light and it is a gas to play.

Thanks to Suhr for taking the time to get it right instead of just dumping another 18watter into an already overloaded market!

This thing is just FUN...I am actually thinking that I could get away with a 4x12 now!

Thanks for reporting, especially on these two things. I'm in the same boat on both.
Can't wait for mine! What number is yours?

I got turned on to these clips and they really nail the tone of the badger. Eddie is the man!

I had heard the audio ones but anyody intersted in this amp should check these out!

He nailed it.....I was going to try to make a couple of clips but I think that I'll put the mic away now.......

Nice clips; in the Marshall sounds family to my ears. I didn't care for the BB pedal, made it too dark.

Surprisingly it reminds me a lot of the Stephenson LJ10 I had. Very similar features too, but seems to have a tighter feel (the LJ10 was too loose for my tastes).

Hey Joe, If you ever sell it... I will definately buy it... that is if I dont get one elsewhere first. I would love this amp as a great studio/ small gig tool. Cheers to Mr. Suhr.
