Anyone know the wait time for a Bi-CompROSSor?

I emailed Mike yesterday, have not heard back, he's probably busy.

Waiting list is pretty big I think...

Well, I've been on it for about maybe 6 months... forgot until I saw this thread... I'm a patient guy, though

Now, I really want a compressor!

Anyone else have any news?

Best,

Mike

I got the e-mail in late December or early January that my number is up. I haven't ordered it yet though.

So does that mean you're offering me your number?

No, actually. Sorry I plan to get it but while waiting my turn I picked up a BJF PGC and can't see the need for another. I'd like to try the Analogman to if the different flavors of compression make a difference to me.

i ordered a comprossor (single, the ross side) a couple of years ago and it came straightaway if I recall correctly. Then I got a Squeeze Factor from Tone Factor & Bob McBroom and don't need to get one of these probably, but they are very cool pedals I'm sure. Love the Ross compressor sound.

Well, was it worth the wait? I have an MXR Dyna Comp reissue that Mike "Ross'd" for me that is fantastic. Curious how much more I'd "get" with the Bi-Comp..

To me, the wait was worth it. I had the large box comprossor which I loved, but now the OS side is my fav. I wouldn't have paid $350 for one like on ebay, but well worth every penny that Mike charges. If pedal board space isn't an issue, you could always just buy a juicer and Comprossor now without the wait (but more expensive).

I've been on the BiComprossor list for a few months. However, at the time of putting myself on it I bought a Mini BiComp to tide me over as there was no wait on that. I think I might come off the list as the Mini BiComp is so good I can't see the big brother being much of an improvement. It doesn't have the attack control on the outside granted but once you've set it inside you're okay. Perhaps if I didn't just use Fenders with single coils I might need to switch it on the fly but otherwise I'm more than happy with the Mini version of the pedal. In fact it has been a love affair pretty much since the day it arrived and months later it is still the apple of my eye (or should that be ears!). I don't know if there is a wait on the Mini nowadays, but if not why not just get that, you can still go on the list for the big'un too. And also, yes the BiComp is worth it, tremendous pedal and the choice of Ross/OS or both is fantastic. I was trying ever pedal compressor available until I got it and I stopped looking once it arrived.

Been waiting for one as well but then got fed up and bought a Menatone JAC and loving every bit of it. They don't come around too often . do they?
