Sure. You wouldn`t want to get any checking on your relic.

I KNOW what you are going through....when I got my brand new Fender 57 reissue strat in form musicians friend...I did the 24 hour wait because it was the dead middle of winter and I did not know what the weather was like where it shipped from....so I waited.

But it will go by fast, trust me. It seems like it is gonna be forever, but the next day will come in no time and you will be opening up your new ax and enjoying it....just don't try to cut down any trees with your new ax! LOL!

Its a relic .

It was about 20 outside when I got my senn strat, after a discussion with him about it, I opened it right up immediately upon return. NO harm done.

Worst case is some more finish checking.
Once the case has sat inside for an hour or so, you are pretty safe.

Sorry, that's the same thing I thought. Unless you're in sub zero weather, or it came from such, you're punishing yourself over nothing.

I got a new EJ from Colorado in December and popped it open immediately.

But hey, it's your guitar, enjoy it whenever you open it.

Heheh tough one...I bet you open it soon

Hey I remember reading stories of Mike Bloomfield showing up at jams with his Tele & no case. Giving it a kick to knock the snow off & start playing......

Open it up outside! Check it out, put it back in the case and bring it back inside for a while.

It would take something very drastic to cause any damage even in the slightest. Unless it was packed in ice and you put it in the microwave to thaw you won't hurt it in any way, shape or form.

you know that disclosure is on the box just so if anything does happen then the company that sent it to you isn't liable.

Think about it... was sent in 1 day meaning it was on an airplane right? We're talking very cold temps at high altitudes... summer or winter. was probably waiting in a warehouse longer. if it was an expensive non-relic accoustic I'd say wait

Exactly, if it was an acoustic, I could see the 24 hours.
