My raw Allman tone

I posted this under the original thread but it sank down as log.

Here's my take with my bastard Fender fake copy with Lollar pickups straight into the Engl combo. The tone is IMHO very "raw" and I am not sure whether I like it... (I am trying to "reinvent" myself these days).

I like the tone, a bit of Roy Buchanan in that tone :AOK. Maybe a bit high in the mix otherwise great tone and playing

sounds good to me...retains a classic blues tone while also sounding a bit different....that's a tone i'd definitely keep...

Sounds good, shows everything needn't be a DeTemple into a TR Kimock to get good tones. Nice job!

Listertones, they are Lollar Special pickups. They are the "darker" ones.
