New CP Thornton design

The new model is a single coil with a bunch of innovations. They call it the Fusion, released it yesterday (3-15-07). Looks pretty cool. I don't see a 1 3/4" nut width option in the specs, but maybe that will follow.

Wow.

It's rare when innovation combines so nicely with a serious eye for design. This guy is an artist. I love how the trem claw actually connects to the base of the neck. That's crazy.

I really like the improvements in the design. If I didn't already have a Suhr Classic...

Fusion

Chuck has got to stop doing this! (Gonna have to buy me one) Looks like a wonderful design, I love the brass bolts instead of wood screws.

Who says you can't build a better mouse trap?

Has to be the most thoughtful redesign of an S type guitar ever. Beautiful work, Chuck. I'd love to see what you'd come up with for a T style!

just what i need ..... if these would be available over here to try out, i'd be already sitting in my car. the specs make a lot of sense, nothing over-the-top, all well thought out from the mere look of things - PLEASE someone post a tone and play report a.s.a.p. !!!!

Very cool design, and implementation!
I like the way he's thought through so many details.

That's an awesome looking design! Too bad I don't like single-coils

Atquinn, You should try one of his dual Lindy Fralin humbucker equipped semi-hollow Elites or Professionals.
