Why does'nt Fender make a Twin HEAD

Makes perfect sense does'nt it? Great amp, weighs as much as a small buick. Produce the same amp as a head only and bang, I bet they would fly out of the factory.

They make the Cyber as a head, why stop there?

No, I bet your right. The Cyber is NO Twin thats for sure. I just could never figure out why with such a sucessful amp from there line, they wouldnt release it as a head.

They did make a Dual Showman with reverb in one of those extra tall cabinets like the Bandmaster Reverb, only wider. Almost big enough to put speakers in.

I saw a BF Twin Reverb amp at Austin Vintage guitar about 9 months ago. I didn't realize at the time that it never existed in head form. Anyway, Eric Johnson was there that day and I heard him telling Bill Webb that he was going to take the head when he left. So whether it was original or not , I guess Eric own a Twin Reverb head.I also remember seeing David Gilmour with some TR heads in some pics. I guess those were also modded as well.

Twin reverb head

They did, I have a Rivera era Twin reverb II head. Larry Carlton used one mid eighties, (See Ohne Filter DVD).
Apparantly, the "Dual Showman" monicker had already been allocated to one of the Solid state amps at the time, so hence the Twin II head.
It's an awsome amp, irrespective of what cab it's hooked into. I've used it with a Boogie 1 X 12, Marshall 4 X 12, VARIOUS 2 x 12's.

There was the Twin reverb II head, David Gilmour did use those for a while...as for a more vintage Twin Head, get a late 60's Deal Showman Reverb...it's as close as you're gonna get short of putting a TR chassis in a head cab, which I think about doing everythime I have to move my TR!
