That looks cool, but I will stick with a DD-20. The extra presets make it much more useful, and it can already sound pretty close to a 201. I wish they would've updated the DD-20 instead.

You can never have too many delays, or anything else for that matter. I still really like my dd-20 and my echoplex but I'd like to give this a try when it comes out. The ability to save patches though would have been much better. Hopefully the modes will include different heads although the ability to tweak them would seem a bit puzzling since there aren't dedicated knobs to set each head's delay.

Hmmm, you know I do recall some people saying they sold their Space Echos after getting the DD-20 becuase they sounded the same...



I still have my doubts than any modeler is going to be able to reproduce 100% of the charm of a well maintained tape echo though, but at least they're considerably more practical and gig friendly.
