I just came across this, unreal! I really wish Alf would hire a sh@@ load of help to get caught up and put an end to this type of craziness.

I sold my first one about 6 months ago for $300 and thought that was high.

Total crooks, taking somebody elses product and gouging that way is to me total Greed. I just hope every time I see one of Alfs pedals on e-Bay that no body would bid or buy them, that would bring the price down. I guess this is the new American way

What makes you believe he *wants* to put an end to it?

There are also no bids on it so don't think for minute that it will sell for that price.

That is because it's a buy it now; however, there is another one on there being bidded out and it is up to 415 dollars with 14 bidders! It could go higher than $525.

Here's a quick fix for getting a D*mble-esqe tone for under $150.00!!! Barbers Small Fry sounds just as good as the ZenDrive if not better IMO. Instead of the Zens Voice control - Barber has Dynamics. I'm sure if all of a sudden a photo of Robben sprang up with hin stomping on a small fry - that would be the new craze!

I'm not affiliated in anyway with Barber Electronics but check the Small Fry and it's big brother -Burn Unit EQ... Besides, Dave is a hell of a guy to deal with... Always replies to email and always has time to talk to by phone.

From an investor point of view it would be a good long term investment, the guys selling them now are making a couple hundred dollars, but when Alf stops making them they could go to way huge status and sell for much more.

I've seen one of my pedals go for more than i sell it for, and its a weird mix of pride and "what? you are making money off of me?"...but the pride won out and it kinda feels good to see something you created appreciate in value. Of course it was nowhere near that much either...if it went for near twice my price I'm sure I would feel differently.

The new American way? Without getting too political you do realize that 200 years ago we had slavery in this country right? I think we were enjoying some pretty good profits back then too.

hmm...never heard one, but it's a good guess that the box, pots, knobs and footswitch cost more than the electronics inside. Total cost $40 maybe. If someone clones this, will the desireabilty go down?
