Question Suhr Pro Series S2

Does anyone know when the dealers will start selling the Suhr Pro Series S2 (maple neck)? I've noticed previous posts indicating that it would happen in March 2007. It's now near mid-April, 2007 and nothing is out there yet ... anyone??

It is my understanding (per Ed Yoon at Suhr Guitars) that the S2 and S3 models are likely to begin shipping in earnest around early summer.

Ed,

You wouldn't happen to know which retailer is taking delivery of the first batch of S2's?

Oops!, I went to Tone Merchants today and they don't have the S-2's, but they have two S-1's and they are sweet! Especially, the tritone sunburst....

I played two Suhr pro series (don't know its S1 or S2) at a guitar shop today. I thought one was better than the other tonewise.

Must admit both are very well made. Everything was top notch. If i had to nitpick it would be the headstock finishing. But i think its just a very minor thing.

Dang!! They are such great guitars to play. Great tone and very useable sounds at every position.

At a good price but i have to thin the herd before cos this GAS thing is really getting a bit out of control.

Great job to the people at Suhr guitars!! Please keep up the great work.

It is my understanding that the most (only?) significant difference is that the S1 has a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, while the S2 has a one-piece maple neck/fretboard.
