Custom vibrolux reverb "Moyer" mod
I'm going to add negative feedback loop to my Custom vibrolux reverb based on the famous Moyer mod.
I have found R41, R42 and the unused connection point '2' but i don't understand at which "green wire" should i run the wire from the speaker jack. My PCB: http://img295.imageshack.us/img295/961/nfl1nm9.jpg http://img57.imageshack.us/img57/6021/nfl2up6.jpg The mod: Ok NFB: To further reduce the hiss found on the Lux and increase your headroom you must add a NFB loop to the ‘Lux. Solder a 10k resistor in the empty space marked R41. Then run a wire from the speaker jack (positive, or tip, terminal) to the unused connection point ‘2’ above the right-hand corner of C37 and next to a green wire. ONE MORE THING! There needs to be a 470-ohm resistor between this point and ground! It’s R42 on the Vibroverb PCB. My 1995 Blonde had a jumper wire acting as R42. One Other Phase Inverter Change: Replace R37 with a 6.8k resister. This goes hand in hand with the NFB loop change. Thanks |

Run a wire from the terminal on the speaker jack (with a green wire on it) to hole "2" on the board, just below the right speaker jack. "2" is just to the left of a green wire on the circuit board and just to the right of a 47uf 350V BIG gray capacitor.

ok, another question:
R42 resistor must be soldered serial or parallel? Is it possible to solder the R41 resistor, and make the wire from the connection point '2' from above (without unmount the pcb from the chassis), or no? Thanks again |

I have no idea. I was merely interpretting your original information and correlating it with the pics you posted. I would need more info including a schematic (at least) to answer this question.

I don't know what a .rar file is and don't have time to find out. Please post it as a Jpeg or I'll have to pass.

Not really, since the solder points/traces are on the underside of the board.
