Has your Suhr ruined your other guitars for you?

Has your Suhr or Anderson, Grosh Tyler (insert whichever awesome guitar you have) ruined your other guitars for you?

I have a really nice American Deluxe Tele, Campbell American Precix, 2 nice import Reverends and a 60th anniversary Mexi Strat. I received my first Suhr (Pro Series S2) last week and I just can't get over how incredible this guitar is. The more I play it, the more I like it. It's light, it's comfy and the tone is fantastic. Now, I'll probably always have a place for my Tele... it's the sweetest AmDlx I've ever played. But it's definitely dropped to #2 status. I used to really like the Mexi Strat... now it doesn't sound good or feel good to me at all. I was absolutely loving my Reverends and now I'm thinking of selling them!

So, does this wear off? Has anyone elase gone through this?

This isn't the ordinary "I just got a new guitar and it's my favorite" thing that happens during every honeymoon period. This Suhr is just better than my other stuff. I know one thing for sure: I've found the one.

Yes, also my Suhr's have taken the fun out of going to the local SA or GC because I know that whatever I find there won't even be close. What it has done is cause me to look at Anderson's and Tyler's more closely, though I haven't felt any mojo with those I've tried yet.....

Kinda

I have a Classic T and it has been plek'd
never gets sticky, perfect fret work, plays like butter
make my others seem a little off

it's weird to play something with no issues

then again, I love my Fender Relics, I call
the issues "characther"

I have twelve guitars, with the last four all being Suhr Standards. Yep, it pretty much ruined my interest in playing any of my other's, including most of my Jackson Soloists. I do, however, have one custom shop Jackson that is very different that the Suhr's I own, that I still pick up from time to time.

But yes, pretty much 100% of my playing time goes to one of my Suhrs.

I'm ready to purchase my fifth Suhr as we speak.

I've owned two Suhrs and both were outstanding guitars.
Played wonderfully and had great tones.I still have my custom ordered Classic Tele and love it.
I'm also a Les Paul player so,no the Suhr has not ruined my other guitars for me.
I'm glad as hell to have my Suhr though.

What's really spoiled me is the SSC in my Suhr Classic. I plug in my Tele and the noise is hard to ignore.

Suhr's are killer, I have 2. They certainly play better than fenders, however my stock fender 1960 custom shop relic wins in a sonic shootout everytime, more vintage sounding, chimier, honkier, and sweeter. This relic was handpicked against many others, so maybe I just have a really special one. I still play the Suhr's more often because they feel so great, I am keeping all 3. I also have an Anderson with WCR Goodwood and SR's that definitely hangs with the others.

For me, it's about boutique guitars versus off the rack guitars. Once I got into playing instruments by the new small-scale builders who place a lot of attention to the details, and refine the design, I got spoiled, yes.

I now have a Suhr Classic, and a Morgaine Beauty. there is hardly any instrument from the big ones that comes close to the playability and sound of those.

Same here. I used to put up with true single coil noise, now I just can't take it anymore. The built in SSC is a beautiful thing.

My Melancon did that for me; I was a PRS poster boy and had at one point over 12 of them, a half dozen Hamers and a total of 30+ guitars (including some extraordinary custom guitars)... .now down to two Melancons and not one regret about it. It's been over 3 years now; and it just keeps getting better. In the shop now for a few frets to be replaced and the rest grinded and polished; simply wearing it out.
