Helping out a friend..........

Here is a tune I played on for a friend's CD recorded a while a ago. He is a keyboard player and I was there to play chimey rhythm parts on a Strat and help with the arrangement. The sax player could not make the date, so I got to solo with my Tele Custom.

The solo starts about 1:30. It is some pretty FAT Tele tone. I think it came out pretty well, sonically. What do you think?

The tune is called Melancoly Man.

Awesome Steve! Nice to hear you posting. Good vocal phrasing and thick harmonic tone. Worked well in the context of the tune.

Thanks, Scott. It means much coming from you.

The solo was one of those off the cuff things, but I was pleased it complimented the song. When the CD came out, this was the tune that got significant airplay (the CD was put together by a smooth jazz DJ on local radio). It was cool to hear it played on the air.
