Lightbulb Spotted A'man delay at Black Keys show last night.

Great show, really quite explosive and amazing. I'll post the pics later, they are blurry because no cameras were allowed in so I had to act fast with a little point and shoot that would fit in my pocket. Anyway, I did snap a shot of Dan's board and on it was Analogman's new delay...how 'bout that.

Well, the concert was very, very good. I was way more than pleased with the show. I was hoping for an energy level up there with Kings of Leon, which Dan was able to pull off amazingly! The amount of excitement and raw energy these two pulled off was great. If you get the chance to see The Black Keys, DO IT! As much as it feels strange to say, I enjoyed it more than Ben Harper last week. That may be due to the fact I was comparing last week's Ben Harper show to his show a few years back at Red Rocks...no comparison. Anyway, The Black Keys tore the house down and Dinosaur Jr. opened. I wasn't to impressed with the new Jr., but they did play a couple "old" songs...like "Feel the Pain."

An interesting rig was J. Mascis' wall of sound. He had a semi-circle around him with a combination of assorted Marshalls and Fenders...and possibly more. I tried to get a shot of it but it was just too hard, and cameras were not allowed at all...and that was being enforced, so I had to be careful.

Anyway, here we go...

Some shots of Dan...

And now to figure out what is on his board from this bad angle. I can obviously see the new Analogman Delay, and what appears to be a Soviet Muff...but I'm not into Boss and can't figure out those by color/knobs. The mystery will be the gold one.

Cain's is a cool venue. I love how the floor just bounces up and down. I saw Bob Dylan there a few years back.

Yeah, whenever they get the photo section back up...you can see the under the floor during the last renovation and see all the springs under there.

Yeah, that was my guess too. It doesn't look like a Keeley TR-2, I should have told him about that had I had the chance. The delay sounded good on the appropriate songs, I paid attention to listen for that.
