Option 5 Destination Rotation (or HK Roto) users, a question for you

Do you have a Vibe pedal on your board? I know well that the Leslie sim and the Vibes make two entirely different sounds, but IMO they overlap in terms of use (i.e. in songs).

If you have a Vibe, when do you use it instead of the Option 5?

I have an H&K as well as a Tube Vibe. Both are on my board. Totally different sounds, IMO. I use both sparingly, maybe once or twice during our set and only for parts of songs.

I try not to overuse them; otherwise, it gets boring after a while
Substitute "Whirligig" for rotosphere, and that's my response exactly.

Just what I wanted to hear.

I have a Op5 DR coming. Note to self: don't think of selling the MojoVibe.

Completely different sounding fx, imo. But I did sell the vibe and still have my H&K.

Like everyone else here, I use both sparingly, and don't feel they cover the same ground very well at all. So it's not redundant to have both.

For me it's the H&K in the loop, and voodoo labs micro-vibe in front. There are better vibes to be sure, but this one isn't costing me a dime more and it's good enough for as sparingly as I use it.
