Which amp did you keep the longest?

In a forum of people who literally sell a week after buying I have to ask...

which amp was so beautiful and so useful and so special you kept it the longest and got the most use out of it - Gigging, Recording, Jamming, Touring.

DO NOT count amps you keep for collectibility purposes - it would make this thread more informative.

I have an '82 JCM800 2203 + slant cab that can do no wrong. I've used it more than anything else, gigs and studio. Bought it used in '85.

1957 Bassman that I bought with paper route Christmas tip money ($175) in 1978. I don't play it enough but it's sitting down here in the basement always ready to go.

The amp I played the longest (in the 70's and 80's) is a toss between a Twin and a Marshall 2x12 combo, both from the 70's. The amp I've owned the longest (but really only played it the first year I owned it) is a Mesa/Boogie Mark III.

I think my current amps will outlive the others, a Carr Slant 6V and this --- http://www.thegearpage.net/board/sho...d.php?t=264193

I have a Kolbe modified Marshall Plexi 1987X 50, it has been the one amp that I have not sold or traded.

VHT 50/12 combo, older model with EL84'2 and single 12. Bought around the middle of 1999, been using it exclusively ever since.

Blonde Fender Bassman. Had it from 72 to 97 -- 25 years. Had my original edition Boogie from 76 to 98. After that...hmmm...had my original Ampeg Reverb-e-Rocket II from about 77 to 85. After that, had my FTR37 for about 4 and half years. Many other amps, about 2 to 3 years.

I held onto my Bogner Shiva for about 5 years.
Only sold it because we moved and 60watts was not practical at all.
I don't foresee selling my Heritage Victory any time soon either.
