Just got my Dr. Scientist Tremolessence...

VERY impressed. Really warm and clear. Lots of useful settings. Sounds great paired with my Keeley-modified Ibanez AD-9.

Profoundly awesome pedal that rivals most any amp tremolo I've ever heard. Can't recommend this little box enough.

Looks really great in seafoam green, too! Thanks Ryan!

How would you compare this unit to a Fulltone Supa Trem??

I'm curious.....The supa trem's foot print is very large and I would love to downsize....I've heard good things about the Dr. Scientist...I have a Sunny day and love it, thanks!

I've never used the Supa Trem, but reading up on it, the Tremolessence sounds a little more versatile. It's a little cheaper, too, so I'd say it's a more than suitable replacement.

Glad to see the love for this pedal come up again!
I got mine in January and my trem pedal search stopped the moment I got that pedal. Previously I had the Diaz, Demeter, Kaden and Menatone trems... the Kaden really being excellent, BTW. But the Dr. Scientist just edged it out with the extra functionality while having the great, as you say, warm and clear sound that I love in trems.

An excellent pedal all around!

I requested that they do mine in seafoam, everything else in white, a green LED, and only the letter labels - no other 'designs'. Here's mine:

Ha! That's what Ryan said!
I do have a cream colored strat (G&L S-500) with a nice rosewood board that compliments it nicely though. :AOK

I have had 2 pedals from Dr Scientist already and so far so good. I am currently looking for a tremolo pedal. Could someone tell me if there is any change in volume levels at all when engaged? Thank you.

Stock, there's a slight boost.
However, inside the pedal there's a trimpot to adjust the output volume. Just set it wherever you want it to be, close up the pedal, and you're good to go.

No problem! Here's a pic if anyone is curious. I know this isn't the 1st time folks have wondered about setting the volume on the Tremolessence! I know this will clear up questions better than words probably. I've 'altered' the picture so most of the components are not identifiable, in respect to the folks at Dr. Scientist.
