Earth 440 Bass amp head, any info.?
Hey Guys,
Just put an Earth model 440 bass amp head on hold at a local music store. Does any one have one of these and can tell me a few things about it? Thanks!

Earth was a company that never actually designed anything. Their products were directly copied from manufacturers like Peavey and Fender. I'm not familiar with this particular model but it sounds like it's a copy of an Acoustic bass rig.

Earth was the Behringer of their day?

Earth wasn't quite that bad.

![]() IIRC, the old Plush amp company became the Earth amp company. Perhaps it was started by former employees from Plush. A customer brought in an Earth bass amp head recently that looked remarkably like a '70's Peavey amp head. It was blown. He got it at a yard sale for $75. PG |

I was kind of amazed to see the links between Kustom, Ross, Road and I think there was another manufacturer or two linked to those companies...
I kind of wish I still had that Road 4x12.

Did you also notice that one of our esteemed amp building members once worked there.
