LYT Pedal Boards

http://cgi.ebay.com/LYT-32-EFFECTS-P...QQcmdZViewItem

This isn't my ad, I am wanting to know if anyone has used one? Are they ok? If so, this looks like a fair deal. But, if it's a piece of crap I'd like to know before I blow my money.

I'd be curious too...my last board has seen better days. I like that they have a variety of cases for them...it boggles my mind to see boards sold with no case at all maybe it's just for the bedroom guys.

I own one (the big one something 32 I think).
It's a great bang for the buck. The second level is great, the velcro is really effective, and you can put stuff like a 1spot under the second level.

I just had to put some steel bars on the two largest borders to prevent it to bend too much.

I bought it with the bag, wich is longer than the board (some might not like that)... You can put stuff in it... the bag is light, but maybe the box would be a better choice, since my bag has some holes after 6 month of gigs....

IMO, it's a nice board for clubs (the best I have ever used in years), but if you tour with a band, a pedaltrain would be a better choice in a long term point of view...

And the last thing : the guy at Lytboards is really cool !!! A pleasure to deal with...

here are some pics of my board :

Is there enough room under the riser for a Pedal Power 2?

What is the board made out of?

Are the steels bars you refer to the channels on the front and rear? Some alumimun C channel might be the trick for that.

I don't think a PP2 could fit under the riser... if you have the dimensions I could check for you

Thanks for checking. Guess it could go above the wah/volume pedal area?

By the way, nice rig!

I just got mine today actually...and I think it is a great pedalboard for what they are worth. Here's a picture of the board in the bag to let you get an idea of how huge the bag is.

I bought one early this year with the bag and it is incredible. They don't advertise the fact that they include soft velcro to cover the whole thing. I bought the planet waves kit so I could custom length my patch cords. The only problem I would say is the bending, but its deceptively sturdy, plus you can do that bar thing. as well, be sure that you;re satisfied with all the pedals you have, it was a lot of work and planning and measuring to get it perfect, its not worth it if you're getting rid of and getting new pedals. But again I love it and it is the envy of all who see it. The isn't a board this good for this cheap.

Other than the riser, these guys look a lot sturdier and lock into the included hard case. Not knocking Lyt at all, they sound nice - but for those not needing risers they are dirt cheap and very solid:

41" long - $69
27" long - $39
and many smaller sizes

If I didn't build mine, I'd probably go with one of these two companies.

I have the LYT 32 pedalboard and my pedal power 2 fits underneath it fine, no problems. Great pedalboards, lightweight but still sturdy.

That`s what I was thinking too...a good spot for the power block up in front of the Wah or Volume.

These look pretty good. I`m outgrowing mine now and have been looking around for another.

Same with my Lyt 24, PP2 fits under the tier.
